Sinds mijn vroege jeugd weet ik dat kracht en mededogen in het bos wonen.
Lot heeft altijd heel mooie foto's. Met printscreen kon ik deze foto er niet helemaal op krijgen, hier is de link. Haar vader gaf les op Beverweerd. Lot Brandt heeft eveneens een atelier aan de Oude Gracht. Misschien hetzelfde?

Ik was al eerder van plan om dit te plaatsen en nu het rond gaat, gedrukt op papier, doe ik het alsnog. Het is niet letterlijk hetzelfde, maar het heeft dezelfde inhoud.
Het lag in de lijn der verwachtingen dat het zichzelf uitgeroepen regime steeds erger zou worden. Wij zijn desalniettemin diep geraakt. Het zijn grote woorden en het is hartverwarmend, maar ik heb niet het gevoel dat ik iets bijzonders heb gedaan, ik vind het heel gewoon, vanzelfsprekend, om me niet zomaar te laten prikken, het idee ... Het zou niet in me opkomen, geen haar op mijn hoofd, nooit een seconde getwijfeld. Het wel doen staat mijlenver van me af.
